I could not be a LEADER !
We have young people that we can not accommodate in Scouting in Maidstone because we simply don’t have enough leaders that is true, but that is just the surface view. Delve a little deeper and you see that to ensure our scouting is good quality, is safe and above all fun we also need people to look after our buildings and grounds, chair our meetings, minute our meetings and look after the money. There is more to it than that, we need friends who are willing to tell us “we are not meeting the mark” and can see what we could do better. They are just as valuable to us as a leader of young people.
